Below is a list of the devices, software and websites I use on a day-to-day basis both inside and outside the classroom. Everything I have included I recommend. If you have any alternatives that you'd like to suggest please tweet me.
Samsung Chromebook Plus
This Chromebook is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I use it every day for marking, creating resources, recording screencasts, taking notes with the pen, watching Amazon Prime/Netflix, editing this website and so much more. It's tablet option allows for easy use while walking around the classroom.

iMac
When I am at home and want a bit more processing power for editing videos, graphics and audio I have my most prized possession, the iMac. Along with a dual screen I can sit at my desk and get through some serious Google Classroom marking while doing so much more.

Blue Yeti
Having used high end XLR mics for podcasting for a few years I was sceptical about moving to a USB mic. I shouldn't have been. The Blue Yeti is all I need for podcasting and screencasting with professional quality audio. Just simply plug it in to your device and it works without installation.

Screencastify
I find I am using this Google Extension more and more every day. It allow me with ease to record my screen for tutorial. There is an option to include audio and camera recording of me in a 'picture-in-picture' format. It is also very effective for creating flip video lessons for my classes. Once I have created the screencast I then use the website in the next post...

EdPuzzle
EdPuzzle is a website that allows you to find a video (from YouTube, Vimeo etc) and then create into a learning tool. You can crop, add audio and add questions. The video will stop for questions and student must answer before moving on. EdPuzzle then gives you the data for your students. We have used this so much for flip learning videos and the kids love it. It also integrates with Google Classroom, which is amazing.
